What is Quick Assist?

Microsoft’s Quick Assist is a free avail included in Microsoft Windows 10 that can be used to view or control another user’s computer. This is appertained to as remote backing and can be used either on a network or over the internet.

Where is the Quick Assist tool?

  1. Press the Windows key to spark the text box on the taskbar.
  2. Type Quick Help into the text box on the taskbar
  3. Press Enter or handpick Quick Help from the list as shown below.

How does the Quick Assist tool work?

How to use Quick Assist to help someone else?

  1. Press the Windows key to spark the textbook box on the taskbar.
  2. Type Quick Help into the textbook box on the taskbar
  3. Press Enter or elect Quick Help from the list as shown below.

  5. The tool will open. Under Giving backing press the Help another person button.

  7. Enter your Microsoft dispatch address, phone number, or Skype and click Coming.

  11. A security code will be generated along with a timer and options to share.

  13. You may choose any system to give the receiver the law. An option to shoot the law via dispatch is handed, this system also sends the receiver instructions on how to open Microsoft Quick Assist.
  14. Once the receiver has entered the law you’ll be asked to take full control of the View screen. Elect Take full control

How to receive help using the Quick Assist tool?

  1. Press the Windows key to spark the textbook box on the taskbar.
  2. Type Quick Help into the textbook box on the taskbar
  3. Press Enter or elect Quick Help from the list as shown below.

  6. Under the Get backing section, enter the law you have handed in the Law from adjunct, box.
